    Description

    Vintage original 9.25 x 12.25 in. US presskit from the infamous 1970's X-rated historical drama,
    CALIGULA
    , released in 1979 in the US by Analysis Film Releasing Corp. and
    directed by Tinto Brass
    , A dramatization of the ascent to Caesar and subsequent reign of Caligula, one of the most notorious leaders of ancient Rome. We see his ambition, his scheming, his perversion and decadence, his brutality and his lunacy.
    It consists of page interior pages on a thicker brown stock that have been punched and bound with a gold plastic spiral comb with an outer cardstock front and back cover. The front cover features an embossed image of Caligula with the film's title beneath it. It is in overall very fine- condition as shown with wear along the edges of the covers only.
    Also included is the accompanying 8-page reprint of an interview with Penthouse publisher Bob Guccione "Comparing an X-rated film to
    Caligula
    is like comparing the shootout at the O.K. Corral to the Second World War" (?). It is in very fine- condition as shown.
