Description
Fantastic, mid century perpetual desk calendar from 29th Fighter Interceptor SquadronGreat emblem on front from the squadron that is one of the oldest in the United States Air Force. Organized at Brooks Field, (San Antonio, Texas) in March 1918 as a training Squadron during World War I,
The squadron saw combat during World War II, and became part of the Air Defense Command during the Cold War.
Chromed metal, made in Japan (stamped on back). The day flips forward or back as you rotate the center section. The month and day of the week are turned by hand. It measures 2 1/2" tall, 2" wide and deep at the base.
Paper calendar is loose but can be tightened on the underside. We did not attempt to fix as most people want original as possible.
