Ludwig snare drum manufactured in the 1920s.
The condition is so good that it doesn't look like a 100-year-old instrument.
It is a very rare size of 15 "x 6" and has a deeper low mid sound.
The former owner is well maintained and there are no noticeable dents, rust or corrosion.
* There are small scratches and dullness. note that.
Although it is a valuable museum-class instrument, its sound and functionality are all maintained at a level that can be used in active service.
The strainer has been replaced with the P-85 12-hole type, which seems to have been manufactured in the early 1970s, and the snappy has been replaced with the Gold Coated Stainless model made by Black Swan Percussion.
A snare drum case made by Professional Drum Shop is included.
[About condition]
One tension bolt on the Top side is distorted (Photo 5 Bolt on the left side of the Calf mark).
It is a little difficult to tighten / loosen the bolts, but it is not that it is extremely awkward to turn and cannot be turned.
There is one tension bolt on the Top side, which is about 8 mm shorter than the other bolts (Photo 5: Bolt on the right side of the Calf mark).
There is no evidence of breakage, and it is probably a non-genuine product.
There is no problem in tightening / loosening bolts and keeping tension.
