KTK Lotus Ware UMBRIAN VASE Knowles Taylor OLIVE GREEN applied white flowers

Description

Up for auction is a beautiful Umbrian LOTUS WARE vase made by Knowles Taylor Knowles.  This has an olive green body with applied white flowers.  It stands approximately 9 inches tall.  I see one small triangle shape piece of white missing from one of the top pedals (see pic); other than that, nothing is broken off.  On the back, there is a hard dot on the piece which I have not tried to take off.  The bottom had a paper sticker at one point, some of which still remains.  This is stamped with the KTK Lotus Ware stamp in dark red and it dated from 1892-1896.  The only other thing to mention is the piece wobbles - does not sit flat when you first place it down...obviously from the way it was made.  The flowers on this piece are so intricate and for them to all still be intact is totally amazing.
