Edwin M Knowles Semi Vitreous Carolina Pattern Sugar w/Lid & Creamer 1940's USA

Description

This is a sugar bowl with lid and creamer set by Edwin M Knowles semi vitreous china in the Carolina pattern. The sugar bowl was produced in 1948 while the creamer was produced in 1949. Both made in the USA. The creamer measures about 3 1/8" in height and has a diameter of 3". The sugar bowl has a height of 5 1/4" with lid on and without 2 1/2". It has a diameter of 4 5/8". The creamer does have a small piece of gold missing on the back side of the base and and has some crazing. It has no cracks or hairline fractures.  The sugar bowl has some crazing but other then that it is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks. (Please refer to the photos.) These are a beautiful set of Edwin M Knowles sugar bowl with lid and creamer set in the Caroline pattern.
Vitreous refers to how porous the china is.
