    Description

Custom 5.5" scale Light-Up Imperial Dalek Transmat action figure as seen in
    Remembrance of the Daleks
    (1988)
    Greetings on behalf of the
    3D Printing Doctor Who
    project.
Our goal is to supplement the official 5.5" scale Character Options toy line with free articulated action figures that people can download and print at home (assuming they have access to a 3D printer). Since this is a non-commercial fan project, I normally don't allow my creations to be sold on eBay, but every few years I make an exception for some of the prototypes I test-printed along the way to developing my final designs. Most of these prototypes have at least one small thing wrong with them, which I will point out in the description below, but if you don't own a 3D printer and don't feel like paying an arm and a leg to use a print-to-order service, this is your only chance to own a one-of-a-kind piece of custom Doctor who memorabilia.
All funds earned from these auctions get recycled back into the project to cover equipment and material costs to help bring you, the fans, even more free Doctor Who figures!
    I will be listing about
    60 items
from my collection of prototypes across the next few days, so please
    check out my other auctions
. Once they're gone... they're gone, and there will be no more!
    What You're Buying:
    Print media:
    PLA and Transparent PETG Filament.
    Item description:
This is my "final" light-up filament version of the Dalek Transmat that makes use of
    two internal LED string lights
activated by pressing a hidden button on the back. One click will make the domes lights light up solid, the second click will make them flash, and the next click turns them off again. It comes in three sections consisting of a raised octagonal dais and two control consoles featuring access panels that open and close quite nicely to reveal the face circuit boards inside.  There are a few very small black paint spatters in a couple of places from where I accidentally dropped a paint brush, but in terms of a filament version of the Transmat, it turned out really well.
I've finalized the design since printing this one, so it will probably be
the last one I put up for auction!
    The Fine Print:
All figures are one-of-a-kind and sold "as is." While I will do my utmost to ensure your figure arrives in the same condition shown here, there is nothing I can do to repair or replace an item if it breaks. Be warned that these "action figures" are imperfect pieces of fan art intended for display purposes only and nowhere near as durable as the toys you regularly buy in stores. They can and will break it you aren't careful with them. If you plan on displaying the figure on a shelf you might want to try hot gluing the legs down (assuming it has legs) to a piece of cardstock or foamcore so it can't topple over in the middle of the night and take the rest of your collection with it.
    Shipping:
Shipped with USPS First Class (US Residents) or USPS First Class International (Worldwide). Apologies in advance that postage is so high for U.K. residents, but consider it vicarious payback for all the times I've had to pay to ship a £12 figure set to the United States.
If you win multiple items, I will happily combine shipping. Just wait until all the auctions are over or request a total when you're ready to check out.
As a way of apologizing for the U.S. postal system and terrible $ to £ exchange rate, each package I send out will contain a super secret mystery bonus "figure" free of charge?
What sort of “mystery figure” can fit flat inside a tiny 2.25” x 3.75” envelope? You'll just have to wait to find out!
