    Description

    From a non smoking estate
    These are from the 30's era.
    This lot includes:
    1.  13.5" long and 10" wide meat platter, very ornate scalloped edges.  Cottage window with flowers.  No chips but one rough spot underside.  Some manufacturer spots.  Very nice condition for it's age.  No markings on the back.
    2.  Two 7.5" wide plates.  Both are marked EDWIN KNOWLES CHINA Made in USA, one with 35-7 and other 36-9.  Both have ornate scalloped edges.  Glaze is darkened on one and there is shelf wear.  One has a rough spot on the underneath but not really a chip.  Both have some hairline cracks when you look closely.   The cottage window scene print is slightly different than the platter.
