They have a filter pocket and nose wire and are soft cotton throughout. Suitable for teens, as well as adults, unisex. They are not only functional, but beautiful as well! They rank up there with what we believe to be some of the most attractive face masks we have ever seen. These are not thin, flimsy masks. They are a wonderfully soft 3-ply mask. They have the outermost layer of printed cotton, then behind that is a thicker soft layer of cotton batting like you would use when you are quilting (not quite as thick), and then behind that is the filter pocket that goes across the entire back of the mask, also cotton; so when you put a filter in the filter pocket, you actually have 4 layers of protection in front of your face, yet they are still easy breathable and soft.
These are cotton and can have wrinkles as some cotton fabrics do get wrinkles in them. They are easily ironed and can also be washed and are reusable.
They are beautifully-colored prints that look like they are patterned after designs from the Aztecs of Central Mexico from hundreds of years ago. We refer to them as the "Aztec" masks.
These masks are a medium in size. They are for adults, teens and pre-teens with mature facial sizes. They measure from the front center (nose area) to the back fabric close to the ears (not counting the cord) 4-1/2" across, so they would be 9" total.  From the very top of the mask (where the nose would be) to the bottom where the chin part would be is 5-1/2". There is a photo that shows you the backside where you can see that they are composed of cotton and a filter pocket.  Rotate the masks that you wear. Bacteria and viruses only live a certain amount of time on cotton fabric. Keep 7 masks in your car. Every day wear a different mask, then at the end of day 7, wash the masks, hang them up in your laundry area to dry overnight. On day 8 start all over again with the mask from day one.  Note that the center mask is more of a tan than a yellow color. If you look at the photo of it on the model, the color is truer than the main 3 piece photo. The black is black, the red is red, and the yellow colored mask is more  of a TAN than a bright yellow. These are not cookie-cutter masks. Some of them have the little window designs on them, some do not, depending on what section of the fabric they came from.
